Description
Introduction Of Hydrea 500 mg
Hydrea 500 mg is a form of Hydroxyurea that is part of the class of drugs known as antineoplastic agents. It is recommended to treat chronic myelocytic leukemia that is resistant (blood cell cancer) along with ovarian cancer as well as dermatologic cancer (melanoma). Hydra 500 mg is also utilized for treating locally advanced squamous cells cancers of the neck and head using chemoradiation in conjunction with it.
Within cells, hydroxyurea triggers an immediate blockage of DNA synthesis through the inhibition of the enzyme ribonucleotide reductase. It also results in cell death during the S phase.
Your physician will determine the appropriate dosage for you based on your medical condition. Continue taking this medication until your physician advises you to for better results.
